Overview

What it is

LizardSkin is a pair of one-part, water-based acrylic coatings sprayed straight onto a shell: Ceramic Insulation for heat and Sound Control for noise. Because it is sprayed rather than cut and stuck, it reaches transmission tunnels, wheel arches and box sections that sheet products cannot follow. Now sold under Henkel’s Teroson brand.

  • Sprays into complex geometry — tunnels, arches and seams a damping mat cannot be made to sit in.
  • Water-based and one-part: no mixing, no solvent flash, cleans up before it cures.
  • Both formulas can be layered, and overcoated with TopCoat for a finished surface.
